The National Health Service is turning 70 on 5 July 2018. It’s the perfect opportunity to celebrate the achievements of one of the nation’s most loved institutions, to appreciate the vital role the service plays in our lives, and to recognise and thank the extraordinary NHS staff – the everyday heroes – who are there to guide, support and care for us, day in, day out.

Practice Management

Karen Brewster

Practice Manager Karen is involved in managing all of the business aspects of the practice such as making sure that the right systems are in place to provide a high quality of patient care, human resources, finance, patient safety, premises and equipment and information technology. The Practice Manager supports the GPs and other medical professionals with delivering patient services and also helps to develop extended services to enhance patient care.

Administration

Diane

The Administrators are responsible for entering and maintaining patient data on the computer.  They provide administrative support and services to the practice team, and assists patients in accessing the appropriate services.

Reception

Grace

Receptionists provide an important link for patients with the practice and are your initial contact point for general enquiries. They can provide basic information on services and results and direct you to the right person depending on your health issue or query. Receptionists make most of the patient appointments with the GPs and nurses.

Emma

As IT Supervisor Emma is responsible for developing the use of IT in the practice to enable modernisation and improve patient care. She is also responsible for all secretarial duties including; eReferrals, other patient letters, etc.
